In this instance, dear reader, I am a creator of hand painted signs and cartoons, it is what I would like to more extensively... however, in the expensive world we live in, I split my working life between the Graphics, Business Analysis and running vintage stalls. You'd probably guess that my hobbies include Morris Dancing.

I have been creating art and sign work most of my life and finally got round (after much positive feedback and cajoling) to creating somewhere to show what I can do, and hopefully sell some.  My early career was as a graphic title artist for General Screen Enterprises, but I have much more fun with paint than I ever did with Letraset.  Since 2010 I have been producing signs, cartoons and illustrations for festivals and friends and thought it was about time I started to share the love.

My background a long time ago involved being a graphic artist for a film and TV post production house called General Screen Enterprises.  (Title work included graphics for the two Timothy Dalton bond films and on the odd occasion helping out on post production set creation)  The 80's recession kicked that into the long grass and I wandered off into the navy.  Finally returning ashore and becoming a Business Analyst in IT by accident (Contracting roles for the past 20 years) in pretty much most industries.  Somewhere along the way I developed a passion for vintage ephemera and have amassed far too much (there are only so many coffee pots you can use in one lifetime), please talk to me if you're interested in finding out what I've got (and make my wife very happy with a less cluttered house!).

Initially, I did fun signs for family parties and BBQ's, but in earnest I began painting signs for Purbeck Valley Folk Festival about 2010 and do more for them every year. This has started the snow ball rolling rapidly down hill and gathering lots of requests to do more signs, mostly for individuals and including a few for Whirl-y-fayre festival in 2018. Most recently undertaking some commissions for Watchet Festival.
